Created by yoga teacher and author Tabata Ogilvie, known for her popular book Burst Into Bloom, this retreat offers space to pause and explore where you are in your life journey. Through guided reflection, you will be invited to connect with the sacred cycles of womanhood, the wisdom of the seasons, and the natural rhythms that shape your energy and wellbeing.
This experience encourages you to notice what is ready to be released, what deserves more space in your life, and how to move with greater ease and intention. Surrounded by nature and supported by the retreat team, you will have time for self-connection, rest, and renewal.
It is a beautiful choice for solo travellers seeking nourishment and community, and it is also ideal for mothers and daughters wanting to share meaningful time together and strengthen their bond.
Across the 3 days, the program includes yoga classes, women’s wellness sessions, sharing circles, sacred goddess meditations, and a powerful rite of passage. Time in nature, journaling, relaxation, and reflection are all part of the journey, with the intention of inspiring feminine empowerment, connection, and positive change.
A key theme of the retreat is the sharing of deep wisdom around women’s wellbeing. Support is offered for those feeling energetically exhausted or disconnected in the many roles of modern life. By honouring natural cycles, women can learn when to rest, when to act, and how to work with their energy instead of constantly pushing against it.
A women’s retreat creates space for self-discovery, empowerment, and connection. It supports self-awareness, confidence, and a sense of belonging through shared experience. With relaxation, healing practices, and dedicated time away from daily demands, it offers a peaceful setting to restore both body and mind.
If you have more time, you may also like the 7 day or 5 day program. For a broader experience, explore the 3 day yoga and wellness weekends.
You are welcome to arrive any time on Friday, the day your retreat begins. If you would like lunch, please let us know in advance. Rooms are available from 2pm, and at 3pm the opening circle begins. After that, enjoy a restorative yoga class before dinner. All meals are vegetarian, with gluten free and vegan options available, and much of the produce comes from the organic gardens.
Each day begins with a Morning Flow yoga class suitable for all levels. On Saturday morning, after breakfast, the Women’s Circle gathers for sharing and spiritual teachings. These sessions explore how to align yoga with your cycle and life stage, while also reconnecting with nature, the stars, and your divine feminine.
Afternoons are open for rest by the heated mineral pool, journaling, reflection, or your included massage treatment. Later, a Yin yoga session offers deep relaxation and release, followed in the evening by a powerful ritual designed to support personal change.
Sunday focuses on welcoming positivity and setting intentions for the future. You will leave with tools to support an ongoing spiritual practice at home and continue exploring your inner potential. After lunch, the retreat closes with a wellness session and final circle, and you are welcome to remain onsite for the afternoon to fully integrate the experience.
The schedule is flexible and may change depending on the group, dynamics, and weather.
Friday – Connection
Saturday – Empowerment
Sunday – Nourishment
* Daily program may vary slightly
The yoga style taught is Purna, a traditional hatha approach with a focus on alignment and intelligent sequencing. Meaning complete or whole, Purna reflects an integrated practice that goes beyond the physical postures to include breath awareness, meditation, and philosophy. Students can work at their own level, with variations and modifications offered so beginners and experienced practitioners can practice together.
As a first timer, I really enjoyed the beautiful sessions and experiences. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The ultimate connection and reset!
Anna, Solicitor, NSW
I have been coming to the Byron Yoga Centre since 2018, have returned to the women's retreat several times and also attended other offerings. I keep coming back as it is an authentic experience that I carry ongoing in life.
Skye, Teacher, NSW
I didn't know what to expect. I was slightly anxious about the yoga given I have been avoiding exercise in my busy life. I was nurtured with kindness and respect to practice this at a level that I was comfortable with, without feeling less than.
The way the weekend was organised was seamless. I just felt like I was being held. I didn't have to worry about anything except nurturing myself through connections and the experiences I shared. From the moment I arrived I felt nurtured and seen.
Jane, Teacher, NSW
I highly recommend the Women's Retreat. I was a solo traveller and felt extremely welcomed and comfortable from the minute I arrived. I'm leaving calm and looking forward to implementing all the knowledge I have gained. And the food was AMAZING! Thank you.
Vicki, Management, Qld
A wonderful, feminine retreat to gift yourself or a friend, perfect if you want to let go of busy modern day life and open to some personal transformation and healing.

The retreat was just what I needed. A very warm, supportive group and wonderful teachers. It gave me space and time for self-reflection and I hope to carry the tools and feelings home with me for a while – until I need to return for a reminder!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the retreat exceeded my expectations. Tabita is wonderful, inspiring, nurturing and has so many experiences and tips/techniques for every day life. I would definitely do another retreat with her. Thank you!

As a beginner I thoroughly enjoyed my time. The teachers were all very professional and accommodating for each persons needs and limitations. Highly recommended.

The women's retreat was amazing and a much needed chance to reset. It was such a supportive group and very warm, transformative experience. The grounds, food and staff are all lovely.
