This deluxe yoga and detox retreat is designed for guests who would like a little more comfort, care, and pampering throughout their stay. It is also the only yoga retreat we offer with guaranteed private accommodation, giving you an en suite room for your personal use, included in the price.
In addition to two daily yoga sessions, meditation, guided relaxation, and the rest of our regular daily schedule, you will enjoy a steam bath every day after breakfast, followed by a 60-minute full body ayurvedic oil massage in our cosy dedicated treatment room. This nourishing combination supports detoxification and renewal while offering a deep sense of calm.
The program also includes an A/C tourist bus transfer from Kathmandu to Pokhara, as well as pick-up from the bus park to the retreat, so your arrival is arranged with ease.
During the first three days, the retreat follows our regular yoga schedule. On the fourth day, the cleansing process begins with a special detox diet featuring a delicious three-colour detox salad served three times a day in place of regular meals. This is followed by one day of fresh vegetable juice fasting and then the colon flush.
The final stage of the four-day colon cleanse is the ancient yogic practice of Shanka Prakshalana, a salt water digestive tract flush. You will be guided and supervised by a trained and experienced yoga teacher throughout this process.
The aim of this retreat program is to create a more comfortable setting for cleansing the body and mind, while allowing you to relax, feel cared for, and enjoy personalized attention. You will leave our center feeling rested, renewed, and healthier.
This retreat runs year-round, but advance booking is required. Arrival at our center is between 11:00 and 2:00 pm on the day before your program begins. The following 9 days are spent in retreat, and departure is on the morning after your last day. We recommend confirming your reservation early, as spaces are limited.
