Five days of solitude in nature by the river
You will spend these days alone in a quiet bungalow by the river, living simply in silence and nature without the usual props of modern life — no organizer, phone, reading, or writing materials. The diet is equally simple: fruit and water.
Time in the company of the elements helps release the markers that normally define daily life. Each person’s experience is unique, but this kind of silence often becomes a watershed moment — a natural turning point that supports meaningful change and growth.

Peter Wrycza, PhD
Peter is the founder of the Nirarta Centre for Living Awareness. Over the past forty years, he has worked internationally as a trainer, consultant, and coach with organizations and individuals. He is experienced in both group facilitation and one-to-one coaching and counselling, and has been a meditation guide for nearly 50 years. His training includes NLP, Person Centred Expressive Therapy, and other forms of expressive work. He has led retreats at Nirarta since its beginnings in the 1990s.
