Strength. Balance. Presence. All on one board.
What if your next workout wasn’t in a gym, studio, or park, but out on the sea?
SUP Fit Yoga in Gran Canaria offers a one-of-a-kind experience that brings together functional fitness and mindful yoga, all on a paddle surf board. It is a full-body session designed to awaken your energy, challenge your balance, and leave you feeling calm in the most literal way possible.
No previous experience in yoga or paddle surf is needed. All you need is a willingness to step away from routine, try something different, and let the ocean challenge you — and hold you.
SUP Fit Yoga combines paddle surf, fitness, and yoga in one dynamic session.
And all of it takes place on a paddle surf board in the sea.
Yes, it sounds demanding. And it is.
But the real goal is not perfection. It is about enjoying the process, moving at your own pace, and understanding that falling in is simply part of the experience.
The session begins with simple exercises so you feel secure on the board. Little by little, you build confidence, stand up, move, and play with balance.
The instability of the water activates your core like never before. You strengthen, stretch, and breathe.
You challenge yourself, laugh, get wet, and most of all, feel free.
This is a conscious, complete workout that strengthens the body while calming the mind.
Physical effort and mental clarity meet in the same space.
Strength and stretch. Effort and release.
The SUP Fit Yoga experience begins at Las Marañuelas beach, where we start with a short briefing on the sand.
You will learn the basics of paddle surf — how to paddle, how to stand up, and how to find your balance on the board — so you can enter the water with confidence and safety.
After that, we head out to paddle.
You will have a few minutes to explore the bay freely, try things out, move, and allow your body to adapt to the sea and its natural instability.
There is no rush. Everything begins by flowing.
This first part helps warm you up before we anchor the boards and begin the real session.
First part: SUP FITNESS
Here we activate the whole body with a full-body functional workout on the board.
Yes: push-ups, squats, glutes, abs, and even burpees.
But don’t worry — every exercise includes options for different levels.
You choose the intensity.
What matters is challenging yourself, laughing, falling into the water if it happens, getting back on the board, and trying again.
It is intense, yes, but also very fun.
Second part: SUP YOGA
After the more active section, we gradually slow things down with a flowing sequence that blends strength, balance, and flexibility, but with a calmer energy.
We continue challenging the body, now with more awareness and listening.
Your breath guides you while the sea supports you.
We finish lying on the board in Savasana, enjoying one of the most special moments of the entire experience:
A deep relaxation, floating on the sea, gently rocked by the waves, with the warmth of the sun on your skin and the sound of the water surrounding everything.
A pause to integrate, breathe, and simply be.

Can I join if I have never tried paddle surf or yoga?
Yes. The sessions are designed for all levels and focused on beginners, so no prior experience is necessary. That said, having tried paddle surf before can give you extra confidence and allow you to explore more standing postures.
What level of fitness do I need?
This session is designed for people who usually train and are comfortable with physical activity and movement. Different options are offered for each exercise, so you can adapt the intensity.
Can I come with my friends?
Absolutely. This activity is perfect for your friend group or training team and takes your workout to a new level — more challenging and more fun than any floor-based session.
What should I bring?
Swimwear (a protective lycra top will be provided), sunscreen preferably biodegradable, water, and a willingness to have fun.
Where can I leave my belongings?
You can leave them in your car or in mine. You may also leave some items on the beach, such as a bag, towel, or shoes, but please note they will not be supervised.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Classes are only cancelled when weather conditions make the activity unsafe, which is uncommon.
In that case, the activity can be rescheduled for another time.
Is there a special group price?
Yes, of course. When you select the number of people in your booking, the discounted price is shown.
Are there session packs available?
If you are thinking about coming back, yes — discounted multi-session packs are available.
