Presented by Blue Deer Center, this program welcomes people from around the world to step away from the pressures of daily life and enter a sacred setting for rest, reconnection, and balance. Here, participants are invited to restore their spirits and renew a deeper sense of connection with nature and inner knowing.
Nature
The natural world thrives through balanced relationships, and it can also support balance, healing, and sustainability in human life.
Randy Whitlock
Randy Whitlock was initiated as a Mara'akame in the Huichol tradition. He is also a self-taught sculptor who works primarily in soapstone.
Sacred Partnership with the World
Living with Totem
Through time in nature and guidance from a teacher, you will develop a profound spiritual partnership while discovering, identifying, and cultivating your personal animal totem.
What if the natural world already knew you well? What if it had been waiting for your unique gifts before you were born? What if it had prepared what you need in order to bring those gifts forward?
And what if the animals were part of that wisdom? What if they were aware, and willing to help? Could Snake be ready to bring more fluidity to your movement? Might Owl help you see what is hidden in the dark? Could Jaguar strengthen your fierceness when you need it most?
Program
In this class, you will identify and cultivate your animal totems and build partnerships meant to last for the rest of your life, while discovering a deeply nourishing source of well-being along the way. This residential Totem Class offers the space to fully unplug for 3 full days and 4 nights in nature.
