This day workshop invites you to step out of the restless stream of thoughts and gently enter the stillness of the present moment. From an inner place of calm, we release whatever keeps us from being fully present in daily life, with an open heart and in the flow of life.
We begin with playful exercises designed to move from the mind into the body, let go of what is unnecessary, and arrive fully in the here and now.
From there, we gradually move into meditation. We explore energy, the body, the mind, emotions, and the deep beliefs that often shape our lives unconsciously. Together, we discover how to train awareness in order to create harmony and openness on these levels — and, in doing so, develop greater sensitivity to life and make room for stillness, peace, and love within us.
Toward the end, we turn toward the heart and our connection to ourselves and to other people. We explore how meditation can deepen and transform these connections.

Om creates a space in which each participant’s presence becomes tangible and visible. He gently guides people step by step into a state of inner stillness, where the heart opens and only the moment matters. In a playful way, participants can enter a deeper awareness of their true self. No matter how stressed or tense they may have felt in the morning, everyone returns home at the end of the day with a soft smile.

Om began his meditation journey 10 years ago in a Buddhist monastery in Sri Lanka. Since then, he has attended numerous retreats with different spiritual teachers to deepen his practice and understanding. For the past seven years, he has lived in the Open Sky House community and found his teacher there in John David.
