A 5-day witchy arts and crafts retreat for making things in good company
November 23rd, 3:00pm—November 27th, 11:00am, 2026
WHERE
Nectar Retreat Yoga on Bowen Island
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Many Hands Retreat welcomes Mimi Young back to Bowen Island for a gathering centered on the quiet power of making. Creating by hand can be a return in itself: to the body, to attention, and to the simple joy of watching something take shape. Spellwork and ritual understand this deeply, and this retreat explores the place where those practices meet.
This five-day arts and crafts retreat at Nectar on Bowen Island is designed for spiritually inclined makers, practitioners, and anyone carrying a lot who is ready to put some of it down for a few days among others doing the same. Witchcraft and ritual are gently woven into the rhythm of the retreat, available to those who welcome them and easy to move past for those who do not.
Mimi Young is an occultist, predictions consultant, maker, and the founder of Ceremonie. She holds a design degree from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, where she has returned as a guest speaker, and has also completed an artist residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Before founding Ceremonie, she owned and operated a quilt business. Her work has appeared in print and been featured in Vogue and Goop.
Daily morning movement practices, with an emphasis on yoga for tension relief, will be offered by Andrea Clark, founder of Nectar and Mist.
