




The original inspiration for our juice detox fasts came from the trailblazing work of Bernard Jensen, Swami Sivananda, and Dr. Gerson in cleansing and detoxification, together with the healing benefits of yoga, meditation, fasting, and alternative therapies. Today, we also integrate the latest research to offer you the best possible experience.
When our programme first began in 1992, it was among the first of its kind: a comprehensive approach to body, mind, and spirit. Since then, we have continued to build on that foundation, drawing on decades of experience and knowledge to support guests from around the world.
Each part of the retreat is designed to support physical, mental, and emotional purification, making it effective no matter where you are on your wellness journey. It is also ideal for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of natural health practices and a positive, abundant way of living, then bring that awareness back into everyday life.
Community is an important part of the experience. Four times a day, we gather for juices and broth, along with group classes and workshops.

Detoxing and Yoga
Our yoga classes are open to all levels. Whether you are new to practice or an experienced yogi, our skilled teachers will guide you through a supportive, restorative session that complements your detox.
Yoga is a core element of the programme because gentle movement, stretching, twisting, and deep breathing can significantly support the detox process for body, mind, and spirit. As the lymph and blood carry released toxins through the body more efficiently, elimination is encouraged.
Yoga also promotes deep relaxation, activating the restorative parasympathetic nervous system and giving the body space to cleanse and heal itself. The more you detox, the more profound the effects of the yoga practice can become.
Exercise, Meditation and Relaxation
Evening workshops may include movement sessions, a fire ceremony inspired by the Sivananda tradition, and more traditional meditation practices.
These sessions help release blockages and tension held on physical, mental, and emotional levels, supporting a deeper sense of ease and letting go. During the day, you can relax, swim, enjoy a therapy session, explore the area, walk, or even help in the organic gardens. Once a week, we also visit one of the beautiful local beaches.
A selection of related videos, DVDs, and films is available to watch. The sauna runs in the early evening, and the hot tub is available throughout the day.
