The roots of our juice detox fasts lie in the pioneering work of Bernard Jensen, Swami Sivananda, and Dr. Gerson, whose approaches to cleansing and detoxification helped shape the concept behind this programme. Their influence, together with the healing benefits of yoga, meditation, fasting, and alternative therapies, continues to guide the retreat today, now enhanced by the latest research to offer the best possible support.
Since launching in 1992, this comprehensive body, mind, and spirit programme has been among the first of its kind. Over the years, it has grown through invaluable experience and knowledge, welcoming guests from around the world who come for renewal, clarity, and a deeper connection to natural health.
Each part of the programme is designed to support physical, mental, and emotional detoxification and purification, making it suitable for guests at every stage of their wellness journey. It is also ideal for those who want to deepen their understanding of natural health practices and bring a more abundant, positive awareness back into everyday life.
Community is an important part of the experience. Four times a day, guests gather for juices and broth, along with group classes and workshops that create a shared rhythm throughout the retreat.

What's Included
Detoxing And Yoga
The yoga classes are open to everyone, whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner. Skilled teachers guide each session in a way that is both restorative and supportive of the detox process.
Yoga plays a central role in the programme. Gentle movement, stretching, twisting, and deep breathing help support detoxification for body, mind, and spirit. As the lymph and blood circulate more actively, released toxins are moved through the body more efficiently, helping speed up elimination.
At the same time, the relaxation created through yoga activates the restorative parasympathetic nervous system, giving the body space to cleanse and heal itself. As detox deepens, the effects of the yoga practice become even more pronounced.
Exercise, Meditation and Relaxation
Evening workshops may include movement sessions, a fire ceremony inspired by the Sivananda tradition, and more traditional meditation practices.
These experiences support detoxification on physical, mental, and emotional levels by helping release tension and blockages. They also encourage a deeper sense of ease and letting go.
During the day, guests are free to relax, swim, enjoy a therapy session, explore the surroundings, walk in the area, or help in the organic gardens. Once a week, there is also a trip to one of the beautiful local beaches.
A selection of videos, DVDs, and films is available, while the sauna runs in the early evening and the hot tub can be used throughout the day.
Therapies
Several therapies are available to support toxin elimination and help balance the whole system. The sauna also assists cleansing through the skin. Treatments include:
