Step away from daily routines and spend the day with a Maya community that will welcome us into their land and share its natural treasures. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious meal prepared especially for us in their small kitchen, using ingredients harvested from their own crops.
We will venture into the jungle and deep caves, where a meditation and a cleansing bath will invite us to reconnect with ourselves and with nature in a meaningful way.
You will be picked up at the meeting point, and the drive takes around 75 minutes. This gives us time to get to know each other along the way while I explain the flow of the experience, the story of the community, and the natural wonders we will explore.
When we arrive, we will stop in the village to meet members of the community before they guide us to the incredible natural site. This part of the journey takes another 25 minutes along a dirt road.
We will explore the area and take part in a meditation session, creating space to connect deeply with nature and with ourselves.
After that, we will do a release practice, letting go of what we are holding on to as we wash it away while swimming in stunning crystal-clear waters.
On the way back, we will stop again in the village for a simple meal prepared from their own harvest, and then return you to the meeting point.
The Maya community is located about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Tulum in a largely unexplored area that very few tourists reach.
We will meet the local people and share a meal with them. If you have items you no longer need, such as clothing or anything you think they could use, they will be happy to receive them.
The site includes two impressive large dry caves with evidence of former habitation. A third cave holds a beautiful cenote at the bottom, where we will cool off.
The community has also built a tall tower, offering a beautiful view of the surroundings.
No experience is needed, and first-time yogis are welcome.
Before and after booking, we will connect to discuss any questions you may have.
The meeting point and time may change for private groups.
Ask about tailor-made experiences.
If you are not a strong swimmer, do not worry — life jackets will be provided, and we will also use helmets in the caves.
Please let us know about any special dietary needs.
If you have your own snorkel gear, please mention it.
