You will be nourished with healthy, plant-based meals prepared with care, featuring many vegetables and herbs organically grown in the walled gardens of Hardwick Estate. With plenty of quiet, distraction-free time, you can slow down, listen inwardly, and reflect on your life.
The retreat program includes seated mindfulness meditation and dynamic walking meditation. Silence is maintained for 5 full days, and many guests are surprised by how nourishing it feels not to speak. Optional personal interviews with a teacher are available for those who wish to clarify questions about the practice.
Daily Hatha yoga asana supports the body through the emotional and mental work of the retreat, helping to release tension and open areas of physical blockage.
