Holistic Massage Course

At Braham Yoga in Rishikesh, this 6-day holistic massage training brings together the wisdom of Ayurveda massage and foot reflexology in one practical, therapeutic course. Designed to support balance in body and mind, the practice uses healing touch to encourage better blood circulation, aid detoxification, and release physical, emotional, and spiritual tension. Through this work, participants may also experience a deeper sense of connection with themselves, the universe, and others.

Brief History of Holistic Massage

Holistic massage is rooted in ancient healing traditions. In India, Ayurveda has used massage for more than 3,000 years to help balance the doshas and support overall well-being. Traditional Chinese Medicine, especially tui na, focuses on restoring the flow of qi, the body’s vital energy. Later, Western approaches such as Swedish massage highlighted relaxation and circulation. Today, holistic massage brings these influences together, combining touch and energy work to care for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

What You Can Expect After the Training

Great attention is given to your practice throughout the course. By the end of 6 days, you should feel confident offering a high-quality 1.5-hour full-body massage therapy session. You will also receive a Holistic Massage Course Certificate from the registered school, supporting your path toward professional practice.

Notes:

• If there is only one participant in the course, teaching will be 60-90 minutes per day
• A 30% advance payment, which is non-refundable, is required to secure your booking; the remaining balance is due on arrival
• You will need to make your own notes; a reflexology chart will be provided
• The certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the course
• Taxi and accommodation arrangements can be assisted with upon request
