Healthcare providers, healers, and caregivers often devote themselves to the well-being of others, while quietly feeling drained, fatigued, frustrated, depressed, or burned out.

Experience Your Healing Roots, a 5 day retreat on sacred land designed to help you grow your capacity to care, connect, and thrive.

As Mara’akate — initiated “shamanic” healers in the Wixárika tradition — we serve as emissaries of this ancient healing lineage. We are devoted to supporting people in better relationship with themselves, one another, and the natural world.

In this sacred retreat setting, you will:

• Immerse yourself in nature.
• Become aware of, tend to, and receive support through sacred relationships available to all, regardless of religion or belief system.
• Experience the wisdom of a new lens on life.
• Increase your capacity to live purposefully.
• Receive individual shamanic healing to clear stuck patterns and open new possibilities.
• Weave new awareness and practices into your daily life.

We invite you into a journey to this sacred place, where perspectives and practices will help guide and sustain you.

During this full 5 day retreat, you will:

• Be held in a ceremonial space around a sacred fire.
• Receive individual healing and counseling with one of our resident physician/mara’akate [traditional shamanic healers] — Lisa Lichtig or Patrick Hanaway.
• Participate in small-group learning and sharing circles.
• Deepen awareness through experiential exercises.
• Discover the divine natural world as a source of support and healing.

Also included are 5 monthly follow-up group video calls to support your integration. These sessions are optional and encouraged.

Arrival = Sunday, July 27 – dinner @ 6 pm

Departure = Saturday, August 2 – after breakfast @ 8 am.

Local farm-to-table meals.

Lodging in a rustic and charming farmhouse with your choice of private or shared accommodations; private rooms are limited.
