This retreat brings together two of the four essential preliminary practices for those seeking Mahamudra realizations, the swift path toward enlightenment. While the wish for spiritual realization is common, it depends on cultivating the inner causes that make it possible: purifying negativity, gathering merit, and receiving blessings.
During this retreat, the emphasis is on two of those causes: accumulating merit and opening to blessings. Mandala offerings serve as a doorway to building the collection of merit and moving toward an enlightened pure land, while guru yoga opens the way to receiving the powerful blessings of all the Buddhas of the ten directions through our Spiritual Guide.
The practice is completed within the Sadhana, Offering to the Spiritual Guide, and the retreat includes four sessions each day.
