Certified Sound Therapy Training Thailand – YACEP
Offered as a 20-50 hour certified sound therapy training in Thailand, this programme develops practical skill in Himalayan Singing Bowls, Gongs, Crystal Bowls, Tuning Forks, Drum, Voice, Shamanic Ceremony, and integrative methods designed to support deep relaxation, health, and wellness. As a premium provider of sound healing trainings, the school was among the first to pioneer multi-instrumental sound healing in Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, and Koh Yao Noi, before the rise of “sound baths” in Thailand. All programmes are accredited by Yoga Alliance as a Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).
The school’s offerings include Sacred Shamanic Sound Baths, Guided Sound Meditations, Yoga and Sound, Moon Sound Ceremonies, and private sessions. With over a decade of professional sound therapy training experience, the focus has long been on Singing Bowls and Gongs, alongside the most comprehensive Multi-Instrumental Sound Healing Training in Thailand and South East Asia since 2019. This approach has evolved into Integrative Vibrational Therapy (IVT), shared by Dimitri Miteff of Yoga Sound Therapy, a Yoga Teacher, Shamanic Practitioner, and leading Sound Therapist.
Pure Nature Yoga offers several in-depth sound healing trainings, including 20-35 hour Himalayan Singing Bowls courses (Level 1 and 2), 20 hour Awakening Resonance with Quartz: Crystal Bowls (Level 1 and 2), 15 hour Gong Foundations, 15 hour Sound Healing Foundations, and the signature 50 hour Intensive Sound Healing Training (Level 1 and 2). These small group trainings are limited to 16 participants and are available in Koh Yao Noi, and from 2026 in Koh Phangan.
This 50 hour Certified Level 1 course explores both the science and the art of sound healing through an internationally recognised training format. The curriculum combines scientific presentation, theory, demonstration, and extensive hands-on practice. Participants learn to work confidently with Singing Bowls, Gongs, Crystal Bowls, Tuning Forks, Voice, Drum, Flute, Steel Tongue Drum, Conch Shell, and additional sound tools, while also immersing themselves in Shamanic Ceremonial Practices and rituals. The programme is rooted in integrity and direct experience, strengthening the skills needed to support family and clients with tools that encourage deep relaxation, meditative states, and self-healing.
Sound is presented as one of the most powerful healing modalities and a rapidly growing path for tangible results. The teachings draw from great masters, world-leading teachers, spirit helpers, and thousands of private client and group sound bath experiences, all focused on how to achieve meaningful outcomes in practice.
Students explore therapeutic applications to reduce stress, uplift energy, balance the nervous system, deepen spiritual experience, raise consciousness, improve relationships, and support specific conditions. The theory also covers how to structure group sound baths and offer one-on-one private sessions. Training includes Gong Meditation, Guided Singing Bowl Journey, Drum and Toning Circle, Chakra Vocal Toning, and more, along with a Multi-Instrumental Sacred Shamanic Sound Bath and a sunrise Calligraphy Yoga session incorporating Qigong, Tai Chi, and yoga.
Each student is fully equipped with professional sound tools during the training, including drums, shruti boxes, singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and more. This allows ample time for guided practice and direct experience with personal support from the teacher. Some instruments may also be available for purchase after the course.
Training includes a wide range of gongs from German Paiste (Planetary & Symphonic), Meinhl, Grotta Sonora, Universal, Titanium (Martin Blasë), Johannes Heimrath, Indonesian, Chinese Chau, and Wind Gong, ranging from 19″ to 62″ in diameter.
