When choosing a master-level Reiki healing course, it is worth asking one essential question: what exactly will you be able to do once you complete it? Will you receive full training and be prepared to initiate others into every level, including full Reiki Master training? Or will parts of the system be left out, requiring extra sub-levels, additional degrees, and more fees? Because some approaches to Reiki have been modified, this is an important point to clarify.
Reaching the Reiki Master level means being able to initiate others into Reiki. At Marina Yoga, the training is designed with that responsibility in mind. At the same time, the benefits of the Master Level Reiki Healing course go far beyond teaching. You do not need to become an instructor in order to be a Reiki Master. The added Reiki healing energy, symbols, techniques, and knowledge can deepen your own healing practice and strengthen your ability to work with others. Self-treatment, giving healing attunements to yourself and others, and offering in-person or distance healing can all become more refined. Many students are also drawn to the fact that they can share Reiki with friends and family. And if you later choose to teach formally, you will have that option. Each person who completes Reiki Master training and raises their personal vibration contributes to the vibration of the whole planet.
Becoming a Reiki Master is a meaningful step that should be supported by proper preparation. Before taking this course, you must complete Reiki Healing I & II training. It is also important to reflect on your life purpose and consider whether mastering Reiki healing aligns with it. Just as important is finding a Reiki Master to study with who is skilled, supportive, and someone you feel naturally attuned to, especially after your training is complete. True mastery is an ongoing process of working with the parts of ourselves that are not yet in harmony with Reiki energy and allowing them to be healed. It may sound paradoxical, but a true Reiki Master is someone who is always becoming more of a master. Like life itself, this path is one of continual growth.
