The Experience of Yoga Massage
Eve’s style blends grounding palming and thumbing techniques, acupressure, and intuitive breath-led movement. Using feet, hands, thumbs, forearms, elbows, and knees, she guides the body into passive opening stretches with slow, rhythmic, and symbiotic movements. Sessions take place on a comfortable futon, and clients remain fully clothed in soft, loose clothing for freedom of movement. The treatment includes pressing, stretching, rocking, and joint mobilisation to stimulate circulation and release blockages along the body’s Sen energy lines.
One especially relieving technique is backwalking, a deep compression somatic method rooted in Northern Thai tradition. With precise foot pressure matched to the client’s breath, this practice can open the lungs, ease muscular tension, and clear the mind. When the spine is ready, gentle cracks or air releases may occur, creating a strong sense of spatial awareness, clarity, and energy flow. Clients often leave feeling physically lighter, emotionally uplifted, more connected to their breath, and grounded in their body.
Herbal Compress Therapy
To deepen the healing, Eve often integrates warmed Thai herbal compresses, known as luk pra kob or herbal pressing muslin wraps. Originally used as an ancient practice for injured soldiers returning from war, these steamed bundles contain traditional herbs such as lemongrass, turmeric, kaffir lime, eucalyptus, ginger, galangal, and camphor. They are applied with gentle rolling, pressing, and holding motions around and along the Sen energy systems, as well as on acupressure points throughout the body.
The warmth helps soothe sore muscles, ease stiffness, relieve aches, sprains, pains, and stored tension, and improve blood and lymph circulation, supporting the elimination of toxins. It also calms the nervous system, guiding the body away from stress and into deep relaxation. Beyond easing muscle pain, herbal compresses may support better sleep, more regulated breathing, and healthier, glowing skin.
What to Expect
A session with Eve is meditative, moving between dynamic work and stillness. You may feel immediate relief from stiffness or pain, while also noticing emotional shifts as stagnant energy begins to release. After treatment, clients often feel brighter and more energised, or at first drained and heavy as the body lets go. In the days that follow, many report improved posture, mental clarity, and an overall sense of well-being.
Eve recommends drinking herbal tea afterwards, staying hydrated, taking an Epsom salt bath, and allowing time to rest so the body can fully integrate the benefits.

Acute conditions may require several treatments in succession, and she recommends 3 treatments per week or 3x weekly treatments depending on severity.
