An aerial arts journey of exploration and recovery in Puerto Escondido, Mexico.
Hosted at Casa Chango, with Cassandra Hein and Amy Thai, from November 14-21, 2026.
Spend a full week in paradise with new friends, the beach, fresh local food, and the chance to build a wide range of aerial silks and hammock skills. This experience is designed to help you hatch, heal, and step more fully into your authentic expression.
This retreat is created for aerial students at beginner to intermediate+ level. Classes focus on skills, technique, strength building, sequence learning, flexibility, and creativity. Participants will train on two apparatuses: aerial silks and sling/hammock.
Each day includes a mix of classes and excursions. Morning sessions emphasize movement efficiency, technique, skill progressions, and aerial sequences, with each day building on what was learned before. Afternoon sessions bring in partner work, flexibility, creative exploration, restorative practices, and thai massage techniques.
When you are not training, you can enjoy healthy meals, relax by the pool, swim in the ocean, ride horses to hot springs, release baby turtles, explore the night market, visit the Mercado, receive a massage, and spend time immersed in nature. Come as you are—your individuality is welcome here.
Experienced teachers will support a range of ability levels from beginner to intermediate. Total beginners are welcome, though trying aerial before arriving is recommended. Significant others, non-aerialists, and children are also welcome.
Daily Schedule Sample: Everything is optional!
You will also be taken to favorite beaches for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and releasing baby turtles into the sea. Optional evening adventures include a bioluminescent lagoon visit and a local night market outing.
