Guided by Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, this silent retreat invites participants to re-see themselves as part of a living, intelligent Earth. Through this shift in perception, a deeper reverence for the planet can emerge, along with an openness to the sacred, self-renewing capacity of the biosphere we inhabit.
In the face of modernity and its unsustainable patterns, this retreat responds to the broader metacrisis by encouraging new ways of seeing and, from there, new ways of imagining worlds worth helping to build. Rather than rushing toward quick answers, participants are invited to trust the healing recalibration of the Earth’s metabolism moving through us, allowing fresh possibilities to arise.
During this silent retreat, a safe and supportive container will be co-created to nourish humble curiosity and wise, compassionate responses in these times of transition. Practices will include Dharma reflections, guided meditation, chanting, Q&A, group and individual discussions, and contemplation prompts. Guests are encouraged to bring embodied awareness to meditation and an open heart-mind, ready to view life and the world with fresh eyes.
Partial attendance is not available. Please consider joining only if your current circumstances allow you to take part in the important modern renunciation of staying offline and avoiding phone and text communication for the full duration of the retreat, with limited exceptions for urgent family matters.
