Guests consistently describe this retreat as relaxing, nourishing, and personal. One 2023 participant shared that the hosts were flexible, attentive, and created wonderfully healthy meals while balancing education with fun.
Why Hot Springs, Montana?
Liz and Roy first discovered this small town in 2021 while returning from Glacier National Park. A quick soak turned into an overnight stay, and they have returned many times since, drawn by the mineral water’s healing qualities and the warmth of the local community.
The water is considered among the best in the world for certain minerals, and the town’s motto says it all: “Limp in, Leap out!” Hot Springs is quiet, genuine, and unpretentious, with a pace that invites connection. Deer and wild turkey even roam the streets. Wildlife Lodge is comfortable, clean, and welcoming, with several room options available.
For soaking, you will have access to a non-chlorinated natural hot tub on the property, plus free passes for the week to the historic Symes Hotel mineral baths across the street. Additional healing water pools in the area will also be visited.
What will we do?
This retreat blends soaking and relaxation with body movement and timely health education. Daily slow-flow movement and yoga classes, prayerful meditations, and workshops on nutrition, detoxification, healing, holistic teeth care, and cancer prevention are all part of the week, while still leaving plenty of time for the mineral springs.
Optional healing offerings include NeurOptimal Brain Training technology, Rapid Release for scar tissue and tight muscles, Biopulsar readings for real-time chakra and aura ratings, and life coaching. These options are available for an additional fee.
For those who want more activity, there will be a one-hour drive to the Bison Range, short hikes to a scenic view over the town and valley, and a fun 10-minute HIIT workout that is easier than it sounds.
Food
Guests will enjoy hearty, healthy breakfasts such as eggs, oatmeal, granola, fruit, nuts, yogurt, coffee, and tea, plus one additional meal each day, either lunch or dinner. A kitchen will be available for those who want a third meal, and there is also an organic food co-op with a café nearby. Most dinners are included.
Meals can be adapted for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian needs. The hosts ask that guests honor the diet they request so food can be prepared thoughtfully and fairly for everyone.

Hot Springs is in western Montana, under 1.5 hours from Missoula, the nearest major airport. Guests should plan to drive or rent a car. Airport pickup may be possible for $75 each way, depending on timing and space. Hot Springs is about 8 hours from Seattle.
