


This silent retreat is rooted primarily in the Theravada Buddhist tradition and invites participants to explore how steady, present moment awareness can support clear seeing and the natural unfolding of wisdom. Held in silence, the retreat offers a simple and focused space for deepening mindfulness and turning inward with care.
The program includes guided instruction in both Insight meditation and Loving-kindness meditation, offering a balanced approach that supports clarity, openness, and compassion. Participants may also join an optional daily period of mindful movement, helping to connect body awareness with the stillness of the retreat environment.
Throughout the retreat, there will be opportunities to meet with the teachers, Greg Scharf and Jill Shepherd, for guidance and reflection. Together, these elements create a supportive setting for those wishing to nourish inner understanding through meditation, silence, and attentive practice.
