A week to slow down, reconnect with nature, and return home to yourself.
This carefully curated retreat is designed to restore your energy, calm the nervous system, and bring you back to what matters most. Over six nights in nature, you’ll be supported by daily yoga, embodied practices, nourishing plant-based meals, and generous space to simply be.
This is not a retreat about doing more — it is an invitation to remember.
A Journey into Presence may be right for you if you are craving:
Whether you are moving through transition, searching for clarity, longing for inner steadiness, or simply ready to reconnect with yourself, this retreat offers a nurturing, soul-centered space to come home.
Each day flows gently between movement, stillness, and nature. Mornings begin with guided yoga. The days include hikes, workshops, and quiet time for integration. Evenings bring ritual, warmth, and connection — from sauna sessions and firelight to star-filled skies. Rather than a packed schedule, the rhythm is spacious, allowing you to settle deeply into body and breath.
In a world that constantly asks for more, making space to return to yourself is not a luxury — it is essential. This retreat is crafted as a heart-centered experience that nourishes the body, steadies the mind, and restores your connection to nature’s rhythm.
Montenegro is one of Europe’s quiet wonders — wild, ancient, and deeply grounding. Set within Lovćen National Park, Ashuma Retreat Center is surrounded by mountains, open meadows, and untouched forest. The land itself invites you to slow down, listen, and turn inward. Luxury safari tents provide comfort while keeping you close to nature, offering a rare balance of simplicity and care.
With nearly two decades of experience in mindful living, Loren brings together yoga, ritual, nature connection, and contemplative practices in grounded, soulful ways. Her teaching is gentle and intuitive, centered on presence rather than performance. Each retreat invites you to soften, breathe, and reconnect without pressure or expectation.
Each tent has a private entrance and its own outdoor space. The tents are fully equipped with authentic teak furniture, Siberian larch flooring, and attached bathrooms with all necessary facilities.
You’ll enjoy delicious and nutritious vegetarian cuisine served buffet-style twice a day. The kitchen uses thoughtful methods such as sous-vide cooking and raw desserts to preserve the maximum nutritional value of the ingredients. Healthy, flavorful meals are served in the cozy atmosphere of the retreat.
Included in the 7 days / 6 nights stay in luxury safari tents (double or quad):
Additional highlights include crafting essential oils, with a hydrosol offered as a complimentary gift, as well as signature raw desserts and a curated tea selection enjoyed in the lounge surrounded by nature. Evenings may also include a cozy bonfire with good company, along with the calming warmth of a Finnish sauna and the refreshing steam of a Russian banya.
Ashuma was created as a sacred and safe glamping retreat for people on a journey of self-discovery who wish to improve their quality of life through mindful practices and choices. The location is remote and surrounded by stunning peaks and unforgettable views, yet still close enough to the main areas of interest in a country waiting to be explored.
The center includes 11 eco-friendly luxury tents for up to 26 guests, a fully equipped activity hall, a spacious lounge, and a dining hall where organic vegetarian and vegan meals are served.
