Set in the peaceful surroundings of Nepal, this 4-night, 5-day healing retreat is designed around the belief that healing is a vital part of a balanced life. Through a variety of restorative practices, you will be invited to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move toward greater inner calm. While yoga is an important part of the experience, the program also includes other healing modalities that support both body and mind.
The retreat is thoughtfully organized by experienced teachers with a strong background in yoga and ayurveda. The structure is intended to help you gain the greatest possible benefit from your time here and support the healing of your body. The main activities are outlined below:
Please note that a detailed timetable is not available in advance. The teacher determines the timing and yogic activities, so the full schedule will be shared after you arrive. What we can offer here is an overview of the practices you will experience during the retreat.
Hatha yoga is a broad tradition that includes many styles practiced around the world. Its purpose is to create harmony between the body’s “sun” and “moon” energies. The practice places emphasis on controlled breathing and steady postures, with many asanas contributing to increased vitality.
During your stay, you will participate in a total of 8 yoga sessions. Your teacher will guide you through essential poses and breathing exercises, while also introducing you to the theoretical side of Hatha yoga through ancient texts and Vedic literature. This practice is known to support healing by lowering stress, improving sleep quality, and helping reduce anxiety and depression.
Sound healing with singing bowls has its roots in the Himalayas of Nepal. In this practice, a wooden mallet is used to gently strike the rim of the bowl, creating a calming, resonant sound that lingers in the air. You will take part in this healing session during the retreat, and it may help ease stress and reduce pain to some extent.
Reiki was introduced to the wider world by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. This healing method is based on channeling energy through the hands and using mantras to cleanse the body. It is also said to support life force energy while encouraging mental and emotional clarity.
During your retreat, you will join a Reiki healing session led by a trained professional. Although it lasts for just one day, its benefits are considered long-lasting. You will be guided carefully throughout the process, and any questions you have will be addressed along the way.
Ayurvedic massage has been practiced for thousands of years. Using medicinal herbs and traditional techniques, it aims to bring balance to spirit, mind, and body while supporting the healing process. Unlike a standard massage, it is tailored to the individual, which is part of what makes it unique. You will learn more about this during the 4-night, 5-day healing retreat in Nepal.
The massage options include:
