This advanced training is designed for students who want a complete, structured path through yoga education, combining foundational and higher-level study in one continuous residential programme. It brings together the 200-hour and 300-hour modules into a single 56-day learning journey that supports both personal practice and professional teaching development.
Covering Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment, and teaching methodology, the curriculum offers a balanced and thorough approach to yoga study. It is open to committed beginners as well as experienced practitioners, and no prior certification is required. New batches begin on the 1st of every month.
At Rishikesh Yog Nirvana, the training follows a progressive format that begins with the 200-hour foundational module during the first 25 days before moving into the 300-hour advanced module. This structure allows students to build steadily, absorb knowledge deeply, and refine teaching skills without gaps or repetition. Upon successful completion, students receive a Yoga Alliance USA recognized RYT 500 certification.
The programme is designed to move naturally from basic understanding to advanced application. Rather than treating the two levels as separate experiences, the curriculum is built to strengthen consistency, improve retention, and support a smooth transition into more advanced teaching.
Students learn from highly experienced, certified teachers with deep study and teaching backgrounds. Instruction is led by specialists in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, meditation, and pranayama. Personal guidance is an important part of the experience, especially in alignment, adjustments, sequencing, and teaching responsibility.
The training gives equal attention to physical practice, theoretical study, and teaching methodology. Students learn how to practice with awareness, understand the principles behind what they are learning, and teach with clarity and responsibility.
The full-time residential course runs for 58 days and follows a fixed academic timetable with morning and evening sessions. Classes are held six days a week, with Sundays reserved for rest, self study, or optional activities. Attendance is mandatory for all scheduled sessions.
The syllabus is divided into two modules to support progressive learning and professional readiness.
This first phase establishes a strong base in practice, theory, and introductory teaching methodology.
The advanced module deepens practice and teaching through refinement, application, and broader study.
