The 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, India is an advanced, fully residential program created for committed yoga teachers who want to take their practice and teaching to a deeper level.

As a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS 300), the program is open only to teachers who have already completed a 200-hour teacher training with a Yoga Alliance registered school and received certification. This ensures every participant arrives with a strong foundation ready for further growth.

With more than 20 years of experience in yoga education, Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram offers a supportive environment for traditional learning. Set among majestic mountains, birdsong, and the sounds of nature, the ashram provides a peaceful atmosphere that enriches the training experience.

Upon successful completion, you will receive an internationally recognized certification. This also makes you eligible to register as an RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, marking an important step forward in your professional journey.

Certification & Assessment

To complete the course successfully, you must attend the required classes and pass all evaluations, including the final assessment. A special graduation ceremony marks this achievement, and you will receive your 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification.

After receiving your certificate, you may register as an RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance upon payment of the registration fee. Please note that RYT 500 approval also requires at least 100 hours of actual yoga teaching.

Eligibility and Skill Level

This training welcomes dedicated practitioners who are ready to deepen their practice and teaching skills.

Skill Level: Beginner and Intermediate practitioners.

Eligibility Requirements:

• You must have completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training from a Yoga Alliance registered school.
• This 300-Hour YTTC in Rishikesh builds on your 200-Hour foundation and takes your understanding further.
• Since all classes are conducted in English, reasonable proficiency in the language is expected.

Teachers

Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram brings together highly qualified yoga teachers, Ayurveda doctors, and therapists, recognized among the best in India.

You will study with experienced teachers who follow Yoga Alliance guidelines and also complete the ashram’s in-house training to maintain high teaching standards.

Each batch is guided by 3 to 4 experienced instructors who specialize not only in asanas but also in the other seven limbs of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, creating a holistic learning experience.

Your journey is led by an E-RYT certified lead trainer with years of teaching experience and deep knowledge of yoga philosophy and practice.

During your stay at the ashram in Rishikesh, you will have clean and comfortable rooms with essential amenities. Whether you choose a private or shared room, your space is designed for rest, simplicity, and peace.

You will also enjoy three freshly prepared sattvic meals each day. These vegetarian meals are seasonally sourced and follow Ayurvedic principles to support your practice and overall well-being.
