ABOUT THE TRAINING
This Yoga Alliance accredited 200-hour training offers a globally recognized certificate and takes place over 3 weeks at the unique ashram resort Rishikesh Yogpeeth, with AC, hot water, and wi-fi.

What kind of yoga do we teach?
We are dedicated to the traditional path of Hatha Yoga, while occasionally weaving in elements from the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga when it fits the class flow. The emphasis is on inner awareness, alignment, pranayama, and meditation, helping students understand asanas, create their own sequences, and share yoga with others.
How much emphasis is given to teaching methodology and practice?
The course is highly interactive and practical, with many opportunities for teaching practice, including two practical exams with feedback from peers and tutors.
Will I be able to teach after the course?
Yes. The program is designed to help both new and experienced practitioners reach their potential and prepare for teaching.

Is the training all in English? Do you have a training program in my language?
The course is currently available only in English, and an intermediate level of spoken and written English is needed to follow the lessons and pass the final certification exam.
What is the average class size?
We welcome up to 30 students per group.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat or will you provide one?
Yoga mats are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Will I be able to explore Rishikesh during the day or on the weekends?
Most students rest after class, and there are 2 days off during the training for exploring the island. These days may or may not fall on weekends.
How to get to your school from the airport? Will there be an airport transfer service?
Transfers can be arranged from New Delhi International Airport or from Dehradun Airport at your expense, depending on your arrival point.
Can I book an extra night at your resort?
Yes, you may arrive early or stay longer after the training for a small additional fee, with meals included, subject to availability.
Is there a laundry service at the resort?
Students are encouraged to handle their own laundry, though reception can arrange laundry service at a reasonable cost per piece if needed.
I'm a male. Will it affect my accommodation options?
Everyone is welcome. Male accommodation depends on the number of male students in that month, and if there are no other male students, a private room is required.
