Your journey begins with a traditional Vedic welcome, accompanied by mantra chanting and spiritual rituals that set an uplifting tone for the days ahead. From the very first moment, the atmosphere is designed to support focus, inspiration, and inner growth.
This immersive training goes far beyond physical postures. By studying in the birthplace of yoga, you are invited into the philosophical and spiritual roots of the practice while building a strong and structured foundation. The curriculum includes:
Alongside these core subjects, you will explore mudras, bandhas, mantra chanting, and teaching techniques that help make your classes more engaging and effective. The program is grounded in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and is suitable for beginners and intermediate practitioners seeking a genuine path of learning.
Each area of study supports a different dimension of growth. Hatha Yoga helps you refine alignment and posture with practical guidance. Pranayama and Shatkarma introduce breathing and cleansing techniques that support clarity, balance, and vitality. Yoga philosophy draws from texts such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita, while anatomy and physiology help you practice safely and teach with greater awareness.
Ashtanga Yoga brings energy and discipline through a set sequence of poses, while meditation encourages calm, presence, and emotional balance. The Student Teaching Practicum gives you hands-on experience leading classes, receiving feedback, and developing confidence as a teacher. Additional learning experiences include yoga on the banks of the Ganga, a Rishikesh excursion, and sound healing sessions.
