As part of the 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, participants are invited to enjoy a special excursion that adds depth and beauty to the experience. You may witness the glowing sunrise at Kunjapuri Temple, when golden light washes over the Himalayan peaks in a deeply peaceful setting, or choose a quiet trek to a hidden waterfall, where the sounds of nature create a calming backdrop. Both options offer a meaningful way to connect with Rishikesh’s spiritual atmosphere and natural surroundings while supporting your yoga practice and inner reflection.
Fresh and Seasonal Fruits
Throughout the teacher training, a selection of fresh seasonal fruits is available. Choices include apples, mango, pineapple, papaya, bananas, and citrus fruits. Overly processed or canned fruits are not recommended.
Herbs and Spices
Ayurvedic herbs and spices such as turmeric, cumin, coriander, ginger, and fennel are used to bring both flavor and wellness benefits to meals.
Vegetables
A colorful mix of vegetables is encouraged, including both raw and cooked options. Leafy greens, cruciferous vegetables, root vegetables, and more may be included. Light steaming or gentle cooking helps preserve their natural vitality.

I wished to reach back into my East-Indian roots after 40+ years of living in various countries, overseas. I also practice yoga. In a time when the Indian modern outlook wishes to resemble the West, Jiva holds tradition firm in upholding Patanjali's yoga sutras.
