This 2-week panchakarma retreat in Nepal is designed to offer guests a truly uplifting experience and a fresh perspective on life. Its purpose is to help ease physical discomfort, support stronger immunity, and encourage a healthier way of living. With yoga included in the program, you can also expect greater mental clarity and a more mindful way of seeing the world.
During your stay, daily life follows a structured rhythm. Each activity is carefully planned, while still taking into account your health condition and the overall program. You will learn from experienced professionals and take part in panchakarma therapy and yoga, both of which are intended to support physical and mental detox. The retreat is created for those who want to improve themselves while moving toward a healthier, longer, and more meaningful life.
This retreat offers a restorative environment for rejuvenation. Guests are asked to follow a set of guidelines throughout the stay. The daily schedule is based on the program syllabus and individual health needs, so some activities may vary slightly. Below is a general outline of the routine.
6 am to 7 am: Wake up
7 am to 9 am: Morning yoga session
9 am to 10 am: Breakfast
10 am to 12 pm: Panchakarma therapy
12 pm to 2 pm: Lunch
2 pm to 3 pm: Theoretical classes
3 pm to 4 pm: Break
4 pm to 5 pm: An evening yoga session
Throughout the retreat, you will follow the principle of going to bed early and rising early. Waking up in the morning is essential for completing the day’s activities on time, while an early bedtime allows the body to receive the rest it needs. Even a small imbalance in this rhythm can create problems, so consistency is an important part of the experience.
Yoga is presented here as a way to quiet the mind and move toward serenity and bliss. During this panchakarma retreat in Nepal, you will join two yoga sessions each day. The morning session focuses on different poses, asanas, and styles of yoga, with the exact content depending on the yoga teacher. All required materials will be provided for you.
In the evening, the emphasis shifts toward breathing techniques and meditation. You will explore different meditation practices that help improve attention and support personal growth. Spiritual meditation, movement meditation, and mantra meditation are among the techniques introduced during the retreat.
Meals are an essential part of the retreat experience. You will follow a vegetarian diet prepared with fresh ingredients, and the program provides a balanced menu to help ensure you receive the nutrition you need.
While yoga supports the detoxification of the mind, Ayurveda focuses on the detoxification of the body, and panchakarma is a key part of Ayurveda. This ancient practice has been used for thousands of years and is now recognized as a form of alternative medicine. Panchakarma therapy involves five cleansing steps that work to purify the body from within.
During this 2-week panchakarma retreat in Nepal, you will take part in the five cleansing procedures: Vamana, virechana, basti, nasya, and raktamokshan. By the end of the retreat, you are expected to feel more relaxed, happier, and energized.
