This 100-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh is designed for anyone who wants to deepen their practice, refine their teaching skills, and explore the techniques and traditions of yoga in greater depth. It offers the knowledge and interpersonal skills needed to begin guiding practice with confidence, while building a strong foundation for lifelong growth. This is both a practical training and a meaningful personal journey into the world of yoga.
Held in Rishikesh, the world capital of yoga at the foothills of the Himalayas, this course welcomes students who wish to study yoga from its roots. Over two weeks, you will receive the core knowledge of a 200-hour teacher training framework, with the exception of the classes focused directly on teaching methodology.
The training is intended to help practitioners understand yoga as part of the Vedic sciences and to provide the essential tools for developing teaching abilities. The curriculum includes:
Analytical study of how to teach and practice the techniques
Guided practice of the techniques themselves
Study of anatomy and physiology and their application to yoga practice
Exploration of yoga philosophy and traditional texts
Principles of demonstrating asanas, including use of language and voice
During the course, students follow a balanced daily schedule of practice and theory under the guidance of experienced, qualified teachers. The school is known for its deep roots in classical Indian yoga, and the program also includes an original course on yoga therapy and ayurveda taught by qualified Indian teachers. Time is set aside for both study and relaxation, with workshops and excursions offered during free hours.
In your free time, you can join organized excursions, explore the city, enjoy its unique atmosphere, take a bath in the sacred waters of the Ganges River, and experience the richness of Indian culture.
