Yota Zirziri first encountered yoga and meditation in 2006, following several months of travel in India. Since then, she has continued as a devoted student of the practice.
Over the years, she studied Hatha and Ashtanga yoga alongside her teachers Konstantinos Karafoulides and Virginia Anagnostou, an experience that inspired her to deepen her path further.
She later returned to India to complete her 250hr TTC at Yoga Vidya Gurukul, a traditional Hatha Yoga ashram in Trimbak, north of Mumbai, in the Nashik region.
While living in Chania, she trained with Anastasis Koutsogiannis and was introduced to wall yoga through her practice with Aggeliki Rebelou. She has also completed meditation and pranayama seminars with Yannis Yaples, is certified in Yin Yoga by Betty Papadopoulou, and trained with Sia Zourladani in Pre and Post Natal yoga and fitness through both levels of the Human Mama Training seminar.
Her teaching style is therapeutic and holistic, supporting strength in both body and mind, while encouraging acceptance and self-love through Yin practices.
She is also a certified Thai Massage Therapist from Sunshine Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and offers Metta regularly.
