Yong Oh (Drala Mountain Center)

Yong Oh is a respected core meditation teacher at the Durango Dharma Center and Sacred Mountain Sangha, and he also serves as a visiting teacher for community centers throughout North America. His teaching is rooted in a deep commitment to Dharma practice and is shared through retreats at well-known centers including the Insight Meditation Society, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, Big Bear Retreat Center, and Vallecitos Mountain Retreat Center, among others.

Alongside his work as a teacher, Yong is a retired acupuncturist whose path continues to be shaped by a strong connection to Nature. He is especially drawn to practicing with and in nature, and his interests include devotional expression, supporting caregivers, EcoDharma, and offering teachings to communities of color in the Dharma. His approach brings together mindfulness, compassion, and a grounded appreciation for the natural world.
