Born in Klungkung, Bali in 1972, Yogi Yansa Ji encountered the life-changing path of yoga at an early age after discovering a book on the subject in sixth grade. Before dedicating himself fully to the practice, he lived with chronic pain and depended on several doses of medication each day. A pivotal moment arrived when a doctor advised a colonoscopy, prompting him to explore fasting as a new approach to wellness and healing.
In his search for deeper guidance, Yansa found mentorship under Sanyasi Dada Vibhakarananda and began to study yoga more seriously. With Dada’s support, he experienced profound physical and mental transformation, eventually receiving initiation into the Ananda Marga community. He later completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with the Yoga Foundation and Meditation of Ananda Marga.
Today, Yansa teaches yoga and spirituality with a focus on sadhana, offering students practical wisdom that supports a healthier, more conscious way of living.
