Yogi Prasad Ji is a calm, joyful, and experienced teacher of pranayama and meditation. He teaches from the heart, with a strong focus on how yogic practice can be applied in everyday life. Open-minded and encouraging, he invites students to explore every dimension of yoga. His relaxed teaching style feels soothing and uplifting, while his classes are designed to be warm, welcoming, and light-hearted so students can learn with ease. He is deeply passionate about sharing his own experiences and practices with others.
His journey with yoga and meditation began in 1996. Over the years, he attended many meditation and yoga camps and workshops in different parts of India, and spent time in various ashrams with spiritual teachers. Until 2016, his practice was irregular. Since 2017, he has followed a consistent yogic path through his role as course coordinator and assistant teacher at Yoga Essence. At first, he assisted Swamiji in meditation and pranayama classes, where he gained deeper insights and experiences through practice. His steady commitment to meditation and pranayama supported a personal transformation, bringing greater calm, contentment, lightness of spirit, and intuition. Inspired by the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, he developed a close connection to the practices, bringing together asana, pranayama, and meditation in a harmonious sequence.
He shares: "Regular yogic practice brings powerful changes to the mind and heart by radiating a deep sense of peace and calmness that leaves no room for anxiety and negativity."
