Specializing in pranayama and meditation, Yogi Mann is from Delhi, India, and is known for his calm, humble presence and his sincere wish to support others in every possible way. His intention is to pass on the true essence of yoga so that it can be applied meaningfully in daily life.
His yoga journey began in his teenage years, when he became curious about the deeper questions of existence. In his search for life’s purpose, he discovered yoga and began to practice regularly. Through what he describes as divine arrangement, he met his Guru, and within a few years he became deeply committed to yogic practices. This path helped transform him from an aggressive, stressed individual into a calm and peaceful soul.
Yogi Mann graduated in Computer Science Engineering from IP University, Delhi. After spending some time in corporate life, he realized that the fast-paced race did not align with his serene nature. He left his job and spent several years in an ashram to deepen his spiritual practice. He also completed multiple certifications and teacher training courses at different schools in Rishikesh and is now an E-RYT 500 registered with Yoga Alliance, USA. Later, he earned his Master’s degree in Yoga (MSc Yoga) from SVYASA, Bangalore, one of India’s most respected yoga universities.
In recent years, he has shared the science of yoga with people from around the world through schools and NGOs. He has also led several workshops in schools for teachers and children, supporting their studies and overall health in a holistic way. At present, he teaches pranayama, meditation, yoga therapy, Yin philosophy, Yoga Nidra, mantra chanting, and kirtan yoga in various teacher training courses in Rishikesh.
