
Motivational speaker and Ayurvedacharya, Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj is a fourth-generation, award-winning Ayurvedic doctor and an RYT-200 and RYT-500 yoga teacher recognized by Yoga Alliance, USA. Over the years, he has shared lectures, workshops, and classes on Ayurveda and yoga at respected institutions around the world, including Hindu temples, yoga studios, ashrams, spas, and colleges. He also leads spiritual retreats and yoga camps, and offers consultations on Ayurvedic and spiritual lifestyles at the Maa Yoga Ashram Center.
Dr. Amrit has been featured on relaxdoc.com, where he delivered stress-management sessions for oncologists in the United States. In 2008, he served as the keynote speaker at the Punarnava Ayurveda & Yoga International Conference. He also writes regularly for the Speaking Tree, one of the world’s largest websites devoted to spirituality and personal growth. For the past five years, he has offered charitable service to yoga and Ayurveda in India and abroad.
He is the founder of Maa Yoga Ashram in Tapovan, Rishikesh, and chairman of the Maa Yoga Research Foundation, a non-profit organization. He also serves as a trustee of the Arogyadham Global AIDS Research Foundation (AGARF). In addition, he has organized numerous yoga and Ayurveda workshops and sessions for distinguished audiences, including the President of India, royal families of Europe, the United Nations, judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts, the Delhi Police Academy, and the Indian Law Institute. He is honored as a Visiting Professor at the Dinacharya Ayurvedic Institute in New York.
