Yogi Ankur teaches meditation and pranayama at Sri Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, where he also facilitates shatkarmas, the traditional yogic cleansing practices. He has successfully completed a 500 RYT Teacher Training Course and has studied advanced pranayama and meditation techniques with a number of teachers. With many years of experience teaching yoga in different countries, he brings both depth and sensitivity to his sessions.
His approach is known for being effective and emotionally transformative. In his pranayama and meditation sessions, students often experience the release of long-held tension, with many describing moments of openness around the heart and mind. It is not uncommon for participants to feel deeply moved as unresolved emotions surface and begin to shift. Ankur is often appreciated for guiding these experiences with clarity, care, and insight.
He also shares knowledge on the connection between breath and psychosomatic issues, offering students a thoughtful and practical perspective on the healing power of conscious breathing.
