Yanna invites students into a deeply embodied sense of presence through immersive practices that weave together asana, breathwork, and mindfulness. With clear guidance, vivid imagery, and meaningful pauses of silence, her sessions are designed to support physical fluency, heart-mind integration, and nervous system restoration.
She is a certified RYT500 yoga teacher from The Shala and a qualified Mindfulness Facilitator through IMISA and Stellenbosch University. Yanna also holds an Honours Degree in Human Geography from the University of Cape Town. Her teaching is informed by 7 years of full-time experience across a range of settings, alongside a personal yoga practice of 14 years.
At the core of her approach is a deep respect for the human creative spirit and its ability to move beyond polarity, opening fresh pathways of insight and growth for both individuals and communities.
