
Wyatt Clark serves as an assistant instructor in our Homonji Iaido classes, bringing both discipline and depth to his teaching. He began training in 2021 and is currently ranked Ikkyu, while his broader martial arts background spans more than 18 years. In addition, he holds a Nidan in Shorin-ji ryu Karate-do, reflecting a long-standing commitment to refined technique and traditional practice.
His academic background adds another layer to his approach. Wyatt graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Japanese language, and he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. This combination of martial arts experience and psychological insight supports a grounded, thoughtful presence in the dojo.
