Vivek Rawat is an E-RYT 500 certified yoga teacher from Rishikesh, India, the sacred birthplace of yoga. Holding a Master’s degree in Yoga and bringing more than ten years of devoted practice and teaching experience, he lives and shares the essence of yogic life with authenticity. His background is shaped by traditional ashram training, ancient scriptures, and years of personal sadhana, all of which naturally inform his presence and teaching.
Rooted in classical Hatha Yoga and enriched by modern movement science, Vivek offers a balanced and intelligent approach to practice. He weaves together Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, Pranayama, Meditation, and alignment-based work to create classes that explore both strength and softness, discipline and ease, effort and surrender. Students often experience his sessions as steady, intuitive, and deeply transformative — a space where challenge and support are held in equal measure.
Vivek’s teaching stands out for the calm clarity with which he holds space. His guidance is precise, his manner is mindful, and his presence feels grounded and reassuring. Whether leading dynamic flows or slower, more introspective practices, he invites students into breath-led movement, mindful awareness, and a deeper sense of inner connection.
For Vivek, yoga extends far beyond physical asana practice. He sees it as a way of life, a path of self-discovery, and a journey toward higher awareness. His teachings often include yogic wisdom, breathwork, and moments of stillness, helping students access the deeper dimensions of practice and experience yoga as a lived philosophy.
Throughout his career, Vivek has worked with students from around the world through teacher training programs, retreats, workshops, and private sessions. He aims to support practitioners in understanding their bodies, respecting their boundaries, and approaching yoga with sincerity, curiosity, and devotion. With warmth, humility, and a strong commitment to the yogic path, he continues to guide students toward strength, clarity, inner peace, and a more conscious way of living.
