After a series of unusual life experiences, Vickie was guided to a spiritual divination that revealed her calling as a weather worker, or granicera, in the Nahua Indigenous tradition of Mexico. She was initiated into this path in 2006 and has since returned to the highlands of Mexico to honor her commitment and deepen her relationship with the weather through reciprocal community practice.
Over the past 9 years, Vickie has continued her studies and pilgrimages to sacred sites as part of her initiation as a Tepahtiani, or Traditional Nahua Healer. Her healing practice is based in Margaretville, NY, where she brings this living tradition into her work with care and devotion.
