My yoga journey began in 1998, when I discovered the fascinating world of Iyengar yoga. I was immediately drawn to the precision of the postures, the clear guidance, and the intelligent use of props. The wish to share this valuable experience with others soon led me to train as a yoga teacher.
During this period, I lived in Italy for four years and taught students from around the world in an international environment. Another important step followed in 2006, when I spent an extended period in the United States. There I deepened my practice in different studios and completed further comprehensive training, which led to my certification as an Iyengar yoga teacher in 2010.
Since returning to Germany in 2010, I have been based in Krefeld, where I run my own yoga space. I regularly attend national and international continuing education courses, and in 2015 I successfully completed the Junior Intermediate I assessment. I also travel to India several times to study directly in the tradition of the Iyengar family at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune.
My teaching focuses on conveying the precision of asanas in the Iyengar style while always responding to the individual needs of each participant. It is deeply rewarding to witness how consistent practice improves physical ability, strengthens concentration, and gradually shifts attention from the outer body inward.
Since 2012, I have been creating yoga retreats together with NEUE WEGE in various European countries. The relaxed atmosphere of the destinations, the chance to meet interesting people, and the time for intensive practice create a special setting that brings great joy both to me and to the participants.
I look forward very much to welcoming you on one of my next journeys.
Namaste!

Yoga means to me: A wonderful path back to myself. I would love to share the insights from my own practice with others. A quote from BKS Iyengar perfectly captures my approach: “Yoga is like music: the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life”
