Based in Bali, Ulfa teaches Vinyasa and Restorative yoga at Power of Now Oasis in Sanur.
Originally from Malang in East Java, she moved to Bali in 2004, where her yoga path first took shape. She began learning on the island with a Balinese teacher, and her curiosity soon inspired her to study more widely with teachers from around the world, deepening her knowledge of philosophy, meditation, and asana.
As an RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, Ulfa is especially known for her Vinyasa classes. Her teaching carries a bright, grounding quality, always guided by breath and feeling. She believes yoga’s deepest gift is the inner connection it awakens, and this belief is reflected in the way she holds space. Yoga helped her cultivate self-confidence and self-love, and she loves sharing that experience with others.
In 2013, she began teaching and organising summer yoga camps in Norway. That experience brought her practice into a very different setting and helped shape the warm, open teacher she is today. Working with students across cultures and climates gave her a natural flexibility that continues to inform her approach to people of all backgrounds and experience levels.
One of PONO’s longest-standing team members, Ulfa has been part of the community since the early days. She teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga in the daily schedule at Power of Now Oasis in Sanur, Bali. As part of our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, she also leads the SUP meditation and paddle session on the water.
In addition, she offers SUP yoga, a playful and memorable way to move your practice beyond the mat and onto the water. With balance, breath, and Bali’s natural surroundings, it is one of the most unique experiences at Power of Now Oasis.
Ulfa teaches in Indonesian and English, welcoming students from around the world to her classes in Sanur.
