Description

About Tracie Palmer

After years of approaching the path with careful curiosity, Tracie discovered a deep sense of belonging at Natural Dharma Fellowship. There, she has had the privilege of learning from Lama Willa Blythe Baker, Lama Liz Monson, Brendan Kennedy, and Lama Justin von Bujdoss, teachers who have helped shape her practice and perspective.

Professional Role

Tracie has served in a variety of roles within NDF and currently teaches meditation while also serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors. In 2021, she stepped away from her legal career to study at Harvard Divinity School, where she is pursuing a Master of Divinity and preparing for a future in hospital chaplaincy. Her chaplaincy residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia begins in September 2024.

Interests

Her work and interests center on death and dying, grief, poetry, and the ways we can honor our shared humanity across differences. Tracie lives in Philadelphia with her wife Cynthia, along with their dog Rupert and cat Teddy.
