Tomas and Joan Heartfield, Ph.D., are the authors of Romancing the Beloved, A Sacred Sexual Adventure into Love. They are also the creators of Talking Hearts, a heart-centered approach to sacred sexuality, communication, relationships, and spiritual evolution.
Through their workshops and vacation healing retreats, they guide both singles and couples into deeper connection, greater intimacy, and more conscious relating. Their work blends warmth, insight, and practical tools, creating a supportive space for meaningful personal growth and shared exploration.
Based in Maui and traveling around the country, Tomas and Joan bring years of experience and a deeply rooted partnership to their teaching. They have been in a loving relationship since 1995, when they vowed to “love each other as perfectly as we can.”
