For several years, I had the privilege of serving as a volunteer teacher with the Children’s Project Trust, a humanitarian initiative founded just outside Sathya Sai Baba’s ashram in Puttaparthi, South India. Supported by Swami’s blessings, the project provided care and education for very young children who had been abandoned, left vulnerable on the streets, or trapped in conditions of exploitation.
This experience reflects a deep commitment to service, compassion, and education as tools for healing and transformation. Working with children in such a meaningful setting offered the opportunity to contribute to a project rooted in dignity, protection, and hope, while supporting a mission dedicated to giving vulnerable young lives a safer and brighter future.
