Tiphaine Besnard

Description

Tiphaine Besnard is a French therapist whose work bridges academic research, embodied practice, and contemporary spirituality. She earned a degree in sexology and completed a doctorate in sociology in 2015, and her university research led to three published books on sexual theories as well as gender and sexuality in modern psychotherapies. Her training also includes mindfulness meditation in 2016, Bert Hellinger’s Family Constellations in 2019, and certification as a Kaula Tantra Yoga instructor from Durga’s Tiger school in 2023.

She regularly facilitates workshops and retreats focused on the body, emotions, neo-tantra, trauma healing, and sexual fulfillment. Rooted in neo-paganism through the Celtic tradition and Starhawk’s Reclaiming path of ecofeminism, her approach naturally weaves in dance, ritual, and magical practices. Alongside her ongoing study of yogic and tantric ancient philosophy, she is especially interested in building meaningful connections and dialogues between Hinduism and other spiritual traditions.
