Theresa Sundt

Biography

Theresa Sundt graduated from Haifa University with a BA in Art and History of Art, and has long explored colour through both teaching and professional art practice. In 2003, she trained as a certified colour therapist under June Mc Leod, Theo Gimbell, and Peter Mandel. From then until recently, she served as a colour therapy consultant for BIOPTRON AG, while also working from her Brighton clinic as a massage and colour therapist.

Innovation and Authorship

In 2017, Theresa developed a portable, affordable colour therapy torch designed to bring colour therapy into every home. She has written three books: The Art of Colour Therapy, Tried and Tested Colour Therapy Treatments, and Know Your Colour Personality, co-authored with Alison Standish. Her artwork appears in a wide range of forms, including murals, large floor mandalas, children’s book illustrations, and woven tapestries.

Current Focus: Mindful Colour

Today, her work centres on “Mindful Colour,” a collection of independent workshops for adults and children. Through practical, hands-on experiences, participants are invited to explore the healing qualities of colour through art, light, movement, and sound. See colour-discovery.com
