Tanmayo Nicole Brown has called Maui, Hawaii home for more than 28 years, where she has devoted her life to yoga and Lomi Lomi practice since 1993. By 1995, she was already sharing her knowledge as a teacher, and her courses soon earned international recognition. She is especially known for creating a distinctive weekend workshop format designed to make the wisdom of the Hawaiian people accessible to a broader audience, while offering participants a meaningful healing tool to take home.
Her journey began in the 1970s, when she studied Sanskrit and dance in Paris. After being initiated by Osho in 1976, she deepened her commitment to meditation and self-realization through experiences with a range of respected spiritual teachers. These included Goenka in India, Tony Robbins in Beverly Hills, Pattabhi Jois on Maui, Amma, Gangaji, and Amma & Bhagwan. Each of these encounters helped shape the depth, perspective, and presence she brings to her work today.
