An athlete by nature, he has long enjoyed badminton and table tennis. His path shifted in 1990, when he attended his first Osho meditation camp and was deeply moved by the master’s love and grace. During that very camp, his devotion became a lifelong disciple’s journey through initiation into Neo Sannyas. Since then, he has practiced Osho’s meditation techniques regularly and remains especially devoted to Dynamic and Mandala meditations, as well as the White Robe brotherhood. He lived at Osho Ashram in Pune, took part in many groups, therapies, and meditation sessions, and also served as caretaker of Osho Teerth Park.
Swami Vartan later traveled to Dehradun, where he spent four years in meditation at Osho Om Bodhisattva commune and at Osho Valley in Hathiyari before beginning to facilitate meditation camps across the country in 2000. He has also guided meditative therapies such as Mystic Rose, No Mind, and Born Again. He enjoys exploring meditation techniques on himself and sharing them with friends, and he also offers personal counselling support.
Professionally, Swami Vartan completed advanced studies in Naturopathy and Yoga Science at Punjab University, Chandigarh, and also trained in Original Point Therapy from Taiwan.
